Fare Frenzy in Florida! This airline is running an airfare special between Florida and select cities for $39 to $79 one-way with 14-day advance purchase! 14-day advance purchase required. Purchase August 16 through September 8, 2005, midnight Pacific Time. Travel August 30 through November 17, 2005. -------------------------------- Airline Inclusive Vacation Packages Beth writes: "The vacation branch of this airline is currently offering $75 per person off their Disney World air-inclusive vacation packages for travel by September 22. The advantage is obviously the savings. The disadvantages are that you're not only subject to the pitfalls of a Disney package (namely, cancellation fees), but also to the airline's package (more cancellation fees). If this airline services your home airport and you're committed to going, and you can pay in full pretty much right away (which you'd have to do even booking directly with Disney if booking less than 45 days prior to arrival), then it's a nice way to save." --------------------------------
DISNEYLAND CALIFORNIA
-------------------------------- LAS VEGAS
Enjoy this luxury Resort & Casino from $69.95 in September. Includes:
-------------------------------- Affordable Disney Members should log in at our password-protected site (The Disney Reading Room) to access the particulars about the above mentioned specials. If you are not a member, you can join our Disney family.

Beth sends this Magical Express tip: "When you put a Magical Express baggage tag on your luggage before you leave home, you will not see it again until it gets to your room. That can take four hours (or more, in some cases) after you arrive at the resort! The reason is that the baggage tags are scanned when they arrive at the airport, then they are scanned when they get loaded into the Disney containers. The containers are held at the airport until they are full and then they get sent to the appropriate areas of the resort. (Several hotels can be loaded into one container.) Not all airlines are quick about getting the bags from the belt to that container for loading. When the bags finally get the hotel they are scanned a third time, and then each name has to be looked up on a master room list to have the room put on them. Finally, the bags are delivered to the rooms and scanned one more time as they are dropped off. In other words, they go to great lengths to be sure that your bags are carefully tracked - but it all takes time. It is strongly recommended that you take along a carry-on with anything you might need in the first few hours (change of clothes, bathing suites, etc.) You have the option of NOT putting the Magical Express tags on your bags (or tagging all but one), and grabbing them off the conveyor belt yourself at the airport. Any bag that doesn't have a Magical Express tag will not be grabbed behind the scenes, so you can get to them easily. At that point, you'd check in for the bus and take the suitcase(s) on the bus with you. This would be especially good if you're arriving late at night and don't want to be disturbed by baggage delivery. This tip was given to me by Magical Express personnel, so I know that they're OK with it."

Are You Suffering Withdrawal From WDW? You know ... that empty feeling you get when you arrive back home from your vacation at WDW and realize it may be a while before you experience that Disney magic again? Reports on Disney weddings, honeymoons, cruises, and resort vacations on and off Disney property are all welcome. Send your email to: johngross@affordabledisney.com . Thanks!
Jennifer writes: "I had a great time when I had gone down in May 2003 and I used your map in finding my way around and the special place to get a mickey hat with your name printed on. I was very happy that I had gone down but when I came back to Canada, I got very sick. Both of my kidneys stopped working, therefore, I am on dialysis, Mon, Wed and Fri. I would appreciate it if you may email me a contact or link in Orlando of a Dialysis clinic. I am married and have a 7 old son, he was 4 yrs old when I got sick." I'm sorry to hear about your illness. I typed into Google.com the search words: "dialysis clinic near lake buena vista florida" and received: Clinics near Disney World Florida. While I was at it, I typed into Google.com the search words for Disneyland California: "dialysis clinic near anaheim california" and received: Clinics near Disneyland California.
