Spokeswoman Becca Bides confirmed the plans but said the company won't offer any details until the fall. It would be about a third the size of SeaWorld and larger than Discovery Cove, the 30-acre park that opened in 2000." Speculation is that it is going to be a $90 million water park. The article mentions that Universal may move Wet 'n Wild to its own property before 2012. It now leases the land the water park sits on and its lease is supposed to skyrocket that year. "I thought I knew all the tips for saving money at WDW, even being a member of the Magic Kingdom Club for over 15 years, but just learning about [your ticket agent] saved our family over $300.00! Thanks." Janet Handy, Bel Air, MD "Plenty of roadside outfits in Orlando promise discounted tickets, but most of them really want to rope you into a time-share sales pitch in exchange for vouchers - accept at your own risk. [Affordable Disney's ticket agent], though, is legit." The New York Post, November 16, 2004. NEVER overpay again! Join our Disney family today and keep that extra money in YOUR pocket!
Shellie writes: "Hi John, in one of your recent newsletters Beth was speaking about grand gathering special collector pins. I have called several departments at Disney and I have even gone on the internet at their Disney trading pins site and no one seems to know what I am speaking about. We have a group of 10 going to Disney starting June 25th. I would love to try to get these pins before I go if possible. Do you have any further information about this? Thanks for your help." You can buy the Magical Gathering Cloisonné Pin at Disney's Pin Trader at Downtown Disney. Price: $6.50 + tax. You might also be able to get it at Disney's Merchandise department. Call 407/363-6200 or email them.

Stephanie writes: "I am planning my trip for 9/30-10/7. I am going to book one of the Moderate Resorts. I am going with my two small children, that will be 5 and 7 when we go. Do you have any advise or a recommendation regarding which Moderate resort we should select? Any information is very appreciated." My favorite resort is Port Orleans Riverside. To save walking, book your room at Oak Manor in Magnolia Bend, or lodge 18 or lodge 27 in Alligator Bayou. A cruise on the Sassagoola River is one of the most pleasant free things to do at Walt Disney World. Guests are allowed to use the pools at the French Quarter. A member writes: "I thought I'd let your readers know that our room at Port Orleans Riverside was the perfect location. We stayed in building 87. Rooms 8739 and 8740. We had a great river view and were just a short walk over the bridge to the main pool. The East depot bus stop was just another short walk from the front of the building and we always got a seat. There was only one additional stop (the very crowded main depot at the lobby) before the Magic Kingdom."
Are You Suffering Withdrawal From WDW? You know ... that empty feeling you get when you arrive back home from your vacation at WDW and realize it may be a while before you experience that Disney magic again? We have had that feeling ourselves many times. Yet, we always seem to feel better when we read about the experiences of others who share their trip reports with us. It's almost like being there again. We invite you, our readers, to send us some feedback about your experiences during your latest vacation at WDW. Reports on Disney weddings, honeymoons, cruises, and resort vacations on and off Disney property are all welcome. Send your email to: johngross@affordabledisney.com . Thanks!
