See how much you can identify from the air! Beth, our travel agent, writes: "Go to http://www.terraserver.com . On the menu bar across the top, select SEARCH, and then ADDRESS. Enter EPCOT as the street, ORLANDO as the city, and FL as the state. The most recent option is in color and offers a great overall view. Using the Quick Pan navigation tool on the left you can work your way around to the other parks. Try zooming out for an amazing view of the whole property. (resolution at 32 meters should do it) And yes, you can put in your own address and see your house! :-)
You can also try this at
http://terraserver.microsoft.com
. At the top click on FAMOUS PLACES and then find Disney World Epcot or Disney
World Magic Kingdom. These are black and white shots and are older, but you
can zoom in closer. Use "Advance Find" if you want to put in an address.
Have fun!"
4-Day Park Hopper Pass Special Purchase Get them for $10.00 less than Disney charges at their site! It comes with all the bells and whistles of a normal 4-Day Park Hopper, but it expires 14 days from its first use. However, for people who plan on going just 4 days, it's a great deal. This pass is only available for advance order purchasing. 4-Day Park Hopper Plus Pass Our ticket agent writes: "I have acquired the new Disney 4-Day Park Hopper Plus Pass. It is not sold at the gate or AAA. You get 1 "plus" day for the Water Parks or Pleasure Island. It has no expiration date." You must purchase this pass in advance. So order early! Our agent also has great prices on tickets to other popular attractions in Florida. "I thought I knew all the tips for saving money at WDW, even being a member of the Magic Kingdom Club for over 15 years, but just learning about [your ticket agent] saved our family over $300!!! Thanks." Janet Handy, Bel Air, MD NOTE: Disney's new ticket prices kicked in January 2, 2005, but you still have a chance to purchase tickets at 2004 prices! Our ticket agent writes: "We will have plenty of 4 and 5 day hopper Plus passes and 5 day regular hoppers at the old system and price. Disney will be honoring them... I should have them for a couple of weeks after January 2nd until we sell out." Details on how to purchase these special passes will be provided with your Disney access codes as soon as you join our Disney family.
Disney Dining Plan Beth, our travel agent, writes: "Heads up to everyone who has booked the dining plan... I've had no less than three revisions of the list of who is participating in the program, and I'm sure they will continue to tweak the list as time goes on. (Remember that this program has only been in effect a few weeks.) From what I can tell, a number of the places which previously were accepting a table service credit (most significantly the better Epcot World Showcase restaurants) have fallen off the list completely. I've written my sales rep. to get a clarification of what's going on with this list and how they plan to handle situations where a family purchased the dining plan while certain restaurants are on the list and find after they're in the penalty period that some of the places they want aren't on the list any more. I'll advise when I hear something back from her. In the meantime, if you love eating at Disney's wonderful restaurants, the dining plan is still a very good move - but remember to stay flexible for a while on the exact locations until they firm up the list of participants."

Bettyann writes: "We just booked a Disney Cruise for May 2005.....We plan on staying at the Polynesian Resort before the cruise and were wondering if there is any way to store golf clubs (my son- in-law will be playing during the land part of the trip), extra luggage (not needed on the cruise) and our extra stroller (needed for the 4 yr old in the park, but not on the ship)...who would we call about this question.....there will be 3 adults and 2 children (4 & 11mos) in a family suite and we are not sure about what to do if you have to bring all of this on the ship...thanks for your help." I understand that your stateroom host/hostess will store your excess luggage on the ship for you until you're ready to repack your bags for departure. You can send an email to the Disney Cruise Line here.
