Disneyland, Paris Attendance is not what Disney expects at its parks in France. Cheaper ticket prices and more attractions may help. "André Lacroix, Euro Disney's fifth chief executive in just over a decade, is trying to increase attendance by cutting ticket prices on so-called Magic Nights from 5 to 11 p.m., and by promotions for holidays including Halloween and Mardi Gras... The real draw, though, will be dazzling new attractions - Disney won't say how many or when they will open - whose construction, at $100 million to $200 million each, depends not on tourists but on investors." Lisa writes: We read all your Disney updates, they are great. We will be visiting Disney soon. Your opinion on this, we have a 3 1/2 year old and a 1 1/2 year old. We have only a two day pass to visit either Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Epcot or MGM. I was planning on Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom due to their ages? But maybe MGM? I am not sure which to go with." Magic Kingdom is perfect. Spend the whole day there. You can, of course, leave the park for your kids to take a nap and return later in the day. Most people can do Animal Kingdom in less than a day, so if your children get tired in the afternoon, you can leave the park and relax the rest of the day. Also, I noticed on the updates that Magic Kingdom's Jungle cruise will be closed during the week we are there...ughgh...my luck!! Can you tell me if anything else will be closed? For current closings, click here. What is E-Ride night at Magic Kingdom, also? On certain nights during the year, Disney is allowing resort guests who visit the Magic Kingdom to purchase E-tickets that will allow them to stay in the park after it closes. E-tickets are limited to 5,000 visitors only. Considering that the Magic Kingdom admits 25,000 visitors on a normal day, this will allow E-ticket holders to enjoy their favorite rides over and over! E-tickets are US$12 + tax for adults and US$10 + tax for children. E-tickets are not included in any WDW pass. They must be purchased separately. To qualify, you must be a Disney resort guest and have a multi-day pass (which you must have used on the day you intend to use your E-tickets).
All seven independently owned Downtown Disney Resort Hotels, the Swan and
Dolphin, and Shades of Green also participate in E-ride nights. Purchase
them at Guest services or at the Magic Kingdom ticket window. After 4 PM
of the day you're in the Magic Kingdom, go to City Hall and exchange the
E-ticket for a wrist band. After the Park closes, you'll be able to stay
for three hours and ride some of their most popular rides:
