Introduction

We have vacationed at Walt Disney World many times over the years
because we learned how to take advantage of the best deals and discounts that Disney has to offer. We have taken three vacations in one year at Walt Disney World and spent much less than many families spend on just one vacation!

We stay and dine on Disney property, enter the theme parks as many times as we want, and buy Walt Disney World souvenirs at big discounts. You will, too, as soon as you know the secrets!

Walt Disney World can be very expensive. The folks at Disney are not much help, either, because they will not reveal which deals represent the best buys for the consumer. Rather than volunteer information, they prefer to just answer the questions asked by the customer on the phone.

So, what is a person to do? Well, we have ferreted out the information through painstaking and persistent inquiry. We have done all the research. Now all you have to do is make the reservation. Beth, our travel agent, can book your vacation or you can make the reservation yourself by calling Disney at 407-934-7639.

Disney Dining

Money Saving Tips:

Inexpensive Drinks

Take your own sodas with you to WDW. We always bring a case or two of Coke. All resorts have conveniently located ice machines. You can also take bottled water, juices and sodas into the parks in your backpacks. Cups of ice are free for the asking in the parks. Although Disney's official line is that no food or drink is to be brought into the parks, we know of no occasion when someone was asked to put away his snack cakes or coffee thermos!

Inexpensive Food

When you make your reservation, ask for a refrigerator to be placed in your room. Costs about $10 per day. You can store lunchmeat, pâte, jellies, cheese, or any food or medicine that needs to be kept cold. By economizing during the day, you won't feel guilty about splurging at night.

Vacation Plan

A family of four adults can enjoy their Disney dream vacation for an entire week for less than $85 per person per day! You'll spend even less if you have younger children in your party and/or you stay fewer days. You could also save more by visiting the parks on fewer days and spending a day or two doing some of our "100 Things To do At Walt Disney World That Cost Little Or No Money!"

Little Or No Money

BoardWalk, Yacht Club and Beach Club, Swan and Dolphin Walking Tour:

Take a bus to Downtown Disney Marketplace and transfer to a bus to the BoardWalk Resort. Here you can walk the 2 1/2-mile boardwalk and path around Crescent lake. A walk in the evening is magical. The pathway leads you to Epcot via the International Gateway near the France and United Kingdom Pavilions.

If you want to return to the BoardWalk Resort from Epcot, you can board a boat near the France Pavilion. You will stop first at the Yacht Club and Beach Club Resorts, and then at the Swan and Dolphin Resorts. This boat ride gives you a chance to rest. When you return to BoardWalk, you can also catch another boat to the Disney Hollywood Studios or walk if you have the energy!

Walt Disney World Honeymoons

A honeymoon at Walt Disney World does not have to be expensive. We have created six themed honeymoon vacations that include five nights at a Disney Resort, tickets and meals starting at $1,600!

Music-Magic Honeymoon: ... Be sure to have your picture taken in front of the Broadway Resort. It resembles a Broadway theater on the outside, with Disney's Beauty and the Beast on the marquee. Our picture in front of the Beauty and the Beast theatrical poster on the front of the building was magical!

Romantic Tour of the Magic Kingdom,
Epcot, and Disney's Hollywood Studios

Magic Kingdom

Leave the Hall of Presidents, turn left and walk towards the "Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe." Behind the row of 3 buildings is a courtyard with benches that is surprisingly quiet and empty. The Castle is in the background.

Epcot

Illuminations: Reflections of Earth -- find a place anywhere around the lagoon for one of Disney's most romantic fireworks displays. Take your time leaving Epcot since the gift shops close around 11:00 p.m..

Hollywood Studios

ABC Commissary (located next to the Chinese Theater) -- for food and rest; during the parade this place is empty and ideal for quiet time together.
