Daring New Dimension in Spine-Tingling Thrills Worldwide Phenomenon The Twilight Zone Tower of TerrorTM Debuts at Disneyland Resort Paris LONDON, UK -- On April 5th 2008, guests will plunge faster than the speed of gravity into the greatest Disneyland® Resort Paris thriller of all, The Twilight Zone Tower of TerrorTM, the highlight of the glamorous Hollywood Boulevard district at Walt Disney Studios® Park. "We're very excited to bring this unrivaled world-class attraction to our guests as part of our Celebration Continues -- big time!" said Karl L. Holz, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Euro Disney S.A.S. "The incredible experience sets a new standard for thrill seekers at Disneyland Resort Paris." Already a hit at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Disneyland in California and Tokyo Disneyland, The Twilight Zone Tower of TerrorTM is one of Disney's most popular attractions worldwide, a spine-tingling mystery drama that climaxes with a 13-storey drop. The effect is mind boggling. The supernatural adventure is based on a "lost episode" of The Twilight Zone®, the spooky U.S. television series that ran from 1959 to 1964. And now Disneyland Resort Paris guests will become active participants in the timeless drama. "Tower of Terror affects every one of the senses, leaving you feeling as if you have really been in your own episode of The Twilight Zone," says Theron Skees, show producer for Walt Disney Imagineering. "A team of Walt Disney Imagineers worked very hard to break the barrier and truly immerse guests in the experience. Adding sound technology, and visual effects is only part of the way we achieved this. We wanted the guest to feel completely out of control -- not knowing what to expect next, and giving the die-hard fans a lot more to talk about." Looming 13 storeys (the tallest attraction at Disneyland Resort Paris) over Walt Disney Studios Park, the attraction* tempts guests to leave reality behind and enter the Hollywood Tower Hotel. Even before they enter the abandoned hotel lobby, evidence of impending danger can be seen high on the side of the ominous building. A sparkling electrical sign that reads "Hollywood Tower Hotel" hangs precariously above a gaping hole in the tower walls. Guests enter through the once-grand lobby and are ushered into a musty library by one of the hotel's curious bellboys. In the library guests are invited to board one of the hotel's service elevators, where they find themselves on a terrifying journey to...The Twilight Zone. The ride's fright-filled ascent begins when visitors board a decrepit hotel freight elevator that passes through mysterious hotel passageways where ghostly images of lost guests seem to appear and disappear at will. As the journey progresses, the elevator-cage hurtles faster than the speed of gravity through the "fifth dimension" in a pitch-black shaft as guests embark on a not-to-be-forgotten journey. The Twilight Zone Tower of TerrorTM features Disney's FASTPASS -- offered at no charge to park guests -- designed to reduce waiting times at popular attractions in both Disneyland Resort Paris theme parks. * Height restrictions apply (Source: Press Release, March, 2008)

Top Couturiers including Vivienne Westwood and Azzedine Alaïa Design for the Disney Princesses European fashion houses re-design classic characters outfits to be auctioned offat CHRISTIES to benefit UNICEF To continue its 15th birthday celebrations, Disneyland Resort Paris is teaming up with some of Europes leading names in fashion to design one-of-a-kind creations inspired by Disney Princesses. British fashion icons Dame Vivienne Westwood, Luella Bartley, Scott Henshall, Paul Costello, Antoni & Alison and Michael Hertz for Aquascutum will be joining designers from France, Spain and the Netherlands to create original, high-fashion party dresses for classic Disney Princesses such as Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Tinkerbell and Minnie Mouse. The designers have penned initial sketches for their chosen characters and are now working hard to make their final one-off fantasy creations. These will be showcased at Disneyland Resort Paris in November. The designs will be auctioned off at CHRISTIES in Paris during an exclusive VIP event in November. Proceeds from this auction will provide much-needed funds for UNICEF. Scott Henshall, who was inspired by the Wicked Queen from Snow White commented, "Walt Disney is a hugely iconic figure that Ive been bought up with so I felt honoured to be asked to be part of this project. Since Ive been known to have a bit of a wicked side I thought it only fitting to design for the evil queen from Snow White." Vivienne Westwood, when asked what had inspired her to design for the classic Disney Princess, Snow White, said, "Because there's a Snow White in every girl." Other international fashion designers taking part are Azzedine Alaïa and Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, from Spain, and Nathalie Garçon, Impasse de la Défense, Baccarat and Chantal Thomass, from France, just to mention a few. Jeff Archambault, head of Community Relations for Disneyland Resort Paris said of the project: "This exciting project illustrates the historic partnership that has brought Disney and UNICEF together over time in supporting childrens causes. By donating their time, talent and savoir-faire to create original fashion pieces, the designers are demonstrating that when beauty and generosity go hand in hand, the results are nothing short of magical." The French fall in love with Disney's "Ratatouille": "Although the
Walt Disney Company has always had a bit of a translation problem in France
- remember those pitchfork-wielding farmers who showed up in force to protest
the 1992 opening of Euro Disney? - the company seems to have found a new
ambassador in Remy the rat." "It's 2am at Disneyland Paris... the cast of High School Musical [is] forced to rehearse through the small hours for the simple reason that this is the only time the park is closed to visitors." (Source: arts.guardian.co.uk, 08/28/07)

Disneyland Resort Paris Celebrates 15 Years of Dreams With its Biggest Party Ever Beginning April 1, 2007 MARNE-LA-VALLÉE, France - From a new parade spectacular with dozens of Disney characters to exciting new attractions and an enchanting makeover of Sleeping Beauty Castle, Disneyland Resort Paris celebrates its 15th anniversary with a yearlong celebration beginning April 1, 2007. In the last 15 years, Disneyland Resort Paris has established itself as the leading tourist destination in Europe, welcoming more than 175 million visits and growing from a single park and a handful of hotels into a vibrant destination. Today, the resort features two Disney Parks, seven Disney themed hotels with 5,800 rooms, seven partner hotels, two convention centers, the Disney Village entertainment and retail district and first-class golf courses. 'Since 1992, Disneyland Resort Paris has been making dreams come true for guests of many cultures, countries and ages,' said Karl L. Holz, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Euro Disney S.A.S. 'The yearlong 15th Anniversary celebration has something new for everyone -- and festivities every single day for 12 magical months.' In the Disneyland Park, Mickey Mouse and dozens of Disney characters star in the all-new Disney's Once Upon a Dream Parade. The colorful procession features famous 'dream' moments from some of the most beloved Disney stories ever. The parade starts with a float featuring an open book to symbolize dream images coming to life, with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in a hot-air balloon, Donald Duck at center stage, and Goofy, Pluto and Chip and Dale interacting with Guests. 'Most of the floats have two themes, one on the front and one on the back,'explained François Leroux, vice president of entertainment. 'Our guests will see more of their favorite dreams coming to life, such as Alice in Wonderland and Pinocchio representing Dreams of Laughter and Fun. And for the first time ever, to excite the senses we've added fragrances that will fill the air and match the themes of each float.' Throughout both the Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park, there are even more opportunities to meet favorite Disney characters, including the new Disney Characters' Express that transports a trainload of characters several times daily down Main Street, U.S.A. to meet guests in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle and at special locations added just for the celebration. As a dazzling backdrop for the party, the Disneyland Park's Sleeping Beauty Castle is artfully adorned with colorful sculptures of Disney Characters with birthday candles decorating the turrets. Each evening, the candles will sparkle as they come to life during Candleabration, a stunning character-filled birthday show. New Attractions Debut Three new attractions open at Walt Disney Studios Park during the celebration. The first two, opening in June 2007, will be making their highly anticipated worldwide debut: * Crush's Coaster, a family thrill ride, plunges guests into the underwater world of the Disney Pixar animated hit film 'Finding Nemo.' This immersive experience will transport guests into the big blue world of curious clownfish Nemo and his surfer turtle friend, Crush. Plenty of thrills and unexpected surprises await. * Cars Race Rally, inspired by the Disney Pixar film 'Cars,' lets guests of all ages take a crazy spinning ride on the famous Route 66. Guests of all ages climb aboard for a zanycruise on the famous Route 66, created with dimensional movie sets. At each corner of the track, famous faces from the award-winning film are waiting to cheer on drivers. As the rocky desert landscape whizzes past and the canyon walls spiral around, the colorful cars cross the finish line. The fun continues in early 2008 on the park's new Hollywood Boulevard with the opening of the The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, a haunted hotel towering 13 stories tall. The thrill ride will dare guests to board a ramshackle hotel freight elevator -- with a faster-than-the-speed-of-gravity drop that plummets 13 fear-filled floors. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, already a hit at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort and Tokyo Disneyland, is one of Disney's most popular attractions worldwide. Special Packages, Easier Access "In addition to all of our new and unique experiences, and as our anniversary present to guests, we're creating special packages that make it more affordable than ever before to live out Disney dreams," said Norbert Stiekema, sales and distribution vice president, Disneyland Resort Paris. (Affordable Disney members should log in for details.) And just in time for the 15th Anniversary celebration, the TGV French rail network is expanding service to Disneyland Resort Paris with links to Strasbourg, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Munich in Germany, and Basel and Zurich in Switzerland. "With this expansion, Marne-la-Vallée is the biggest platform of hub interconnections for TGV in France," said Stiekema. The party continues daily from April 1, 2007 through March 2008 at both parks of the Disneyland Paris Resort.
